Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance (ABSLI) has announced the promotion of Dinesh K.R. as the new Head – Corporate Human Resources, marking a significant step in his six-year journey with the organisation.
Dinesh, who shared the news via LinkedIn, joined ABSLI in August 2019 as Associate Vice President – Human Resources, and was subsequently elevated to Assistant Vice President in July 2024. His latest promotion reflects the company’s continued focus on leveraging internal talent to drive strategic HR transformation.
With a career spanning over two decades across financial services and HR operations, Dinesh brings a depth of experience in HR business partnering, organisational development, employee engagement, and talent strategy execution. His previous roles include serving as Zonal HRBP for Aditya Birla Payments Bank from April 2018 to August 2019, and earlier as Associate Vice President – HR at Muthoot Mini Financiers.
Dinesh has also held key HR leadership and operational roles at Muthoot Fincorp, First Advantage, Manappuram Finance, Tata Finance, and Standard Automobiles, contributing to people-centric initiatives across a wide spectrum of financial organisations.
He holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from Pondicherry University, underscoring his academic foundation in strategic HR practices.
As he steps into the new role at ABSLI, Dinesh is expected to lead the company’s corporate HR agenda with a focus on culture building, workforce agility, and aligning human capital with long-term business goals.
