IndusInd Bank has announced the appointment of Sheran Mehra as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), entrusting her with the responsibility of leading the bank’s brand, marketing and digital engagement strategies. The move underscores the bank’s commitment to strengthening its market presence amid an evolving financial ecosystem driven by digital innovation.
Sheran Mehra brings over 25 years of rich experience spanning banking, FMCG, travel and digital sectors. Prior to joining IndusInd Bank, she served as Chief Business Officer at Tata Digital, where she spearheaded loyalty growth initiatives for Indian Hotels on Tata Neu, driving a remarkable threefold increase in loyalty contribution and gross merchandise value through digital channels.
A founding member of Tata Neu, Sheran previously held the role of Chief Brand Officer, overseeing the launch of India’s first super app during the IPL. She was instrumental in crafting Tata Neu’s brand identity, shaping consumer experiences and executing digital engagement strategies that significantly elevated brand awareness and adoption.
Sheran’s career also includes leadership roles at DBS Bank, Barclays, HSBC, Mahindra Holidays and global agencies such as Ogilvy, equipping her with a diverse skill set in storytelling, data-driven marketing and customer-centric strategy. At IndusInd Bank, she is expected to leverage this expertise to further enhance the bank’s digital presence, deepen customer engagement and reinforce its position as a forward-looking financial institution.
