Chitrank Goel Appointed Deputy MD & Executive Director of Kwality Wall’s India Ahead of Demerger

Chitrank Goel has been appointed Deputy Managing Director and Executive Director of Kwality Wall’s (India) Ltd. (KWIL), assuming a central leadership role as the company prepares for its demerger from Hindustan Unilever (HUL). His elevation comes at a critical juncture for KWIL, which is entering a new phase of independent growth and operational realignment.

Chitrank returns to the organisation with deep sectoral experience built over a long and diverse career at Unilever, where he most recently served as General Manager for Kwality Wall’s and Vice President at HUL. His expertise spans category scaling, brand architecture, commercial strategy and organisational execution capabilities that will be essential as KWIL sharpens its market position post-demerger.

Prior to rejoining Unilever in 2025, Chitrank held the role of Executive Vice President at Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd., where he led the P&L and operating strategy for Dunkin and oversaw the incubation of emerging brands. His earlier 14-year tenure at Unilever included leadership assignments across India, the Netherlands and Eastern Europe, covering positions such as Director of Marketing and Sales for the Poland and Baltics ice cream business, Customer Development Director for East Europe and multiple commercial and marketing roles across geographies.

With his experience in P&L ownership, go-to-market design, brand innovation and cross-functional leadership, Chitrank is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping KWIL’s growth strategy and driving the company’s transformation as it moves towards standalone operations.
