A veteran of India’s banking and financial services industry, Zarin brings over 35 years of leadership experience across corporate and retail banking, strategic transformation, and governance. Prior to joining PL Capital, she served as CEO – India and South Asia at Standard Chartered Bank, where she spearheaded the bank’s growth across corporate, investment, and wealth management businesses.
Her appointment comes at a pivotal juncture for PL Capital. Over the past few years, the Group has undergone a strategic evolution consolidating ownership under Amisha Vora, strengthening its governance framework, rebranding its corporate identity and bringing in a new generation of senior leadership talent. In her new role, Zarin will work closely with the leadership team to drive the next phase of PL Capital’s growth expanding its footprint across key verticals including Broking & Distribution, Institutional Equities, Investment Banking, Corporate Advisory, Wealth Management, Asset Management and Private Credit.
