Parikshit Mahajan has long been a trailblazer in India’s health insurance landscape. During his tenure as Chairman & Managing Director of Volo Health TPA (formerly East West Assist), he spearheaded transformative growth, scaling the company into one of India’s fastest-growing, technology-driven TPAs. Under his leadership, Volo achieved a tenfold increase in both Gross Written Premium (GWP) and revenue, managing over ₹1,300 crore in premiums and serving more than 1.8 million insured lives across 14,000 hospitals in over 600 cities nationwide.
In addition to his corporate achievements, He continues to shape the healthcare services sector as Chief Mentor at East West Rescue, India’s first and largest medical assistance group established in 1973. His guidance encompasses critical areas such as air and road ambulance services, medical repatriation and international insurance claims. Complementing his professional expertise, Mahajan also oversees one of India’s ultra-high net worth family offices, demonstrating his strategic acumen across finance, treasury management and legacy planning.
