Madhuri Mehta Appointed as CHRO of Hero MotoCorp, Effective October 2025

Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has announced the appointment of Madhuri Mehta as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective October 1, 2025. In this pivotal role, she will oversee the company’s global people agenda, including culture transformation, talent and leadership development, and capability-building initiatives, as the organization charts its next phase of growth in a rapidly evolving automotive landscape.

Bringing over 24 years of extensive HR leadership experience, Madhuri has built her career across diverse industries such as telecom, cement, infrastructure, and real estate. Most recently, she served as CHRO and Head of Communities at Emaar India, where she played a central role in organizational restructuring, leadership capability enhancement, and employee engagement. Prior to that, she spent 16 years with the Dalmia Bharat Group, where she held multiple HR leadership roles and spearheaded initiatives around talent strategy, succession planning and organizational culture.

Madhuri began her professional journey with Bharti Airtel (airtel), where she was actively involved in building talent acquisition strategies, implementing performance management frameworks and introducing HR digitization at a time when telecom was undergoing transformational change in India.

Her appointment comes at a crucial time for Hero MotoCorp, which is intensifying its focus on electrification, global expansion, and digital transformation. With the two-wheeler industry witnessing unprecedented disruption driven by EV adoption, sustainability mandates, and shifting workforce expectations, Madhuri’s proven ability to align HR strategy with business imperatives will be critical to driving organizational agility and resilience.

Industry experts highlight that her leadership style, anchored in inclusivity, innovation, and people-first policies will further strengthen Hero’s efforts to build a high-performance, future-ready workforce. By investing in leadership development, employee well-being, and digital HR practices, Hero MotoCorp aims to reinforce its position not just as a mobility leader, but also as an employer of choice in the global automotive industry.

This appointment underscores Hero’s recognition that people and culture are central to its competitive advantage. With Madhuri at the helm of its HR function, the company is poised to enhance employee engagement, nurture next-generation talent, and accelerate its transformation journey in both domestic and international markets.
